Enjoying the Community

We are still in the midst of working with the insurance company for a settlement on all the things that were broken in the move. Actually I am still logging all the broken items and filling out the paperwork to figure out how much it would cost to replace or repair all the broken items. I only get a hour or two here and there to work on it so it is slow going. Hopefully I will get that done this week.
In the mean time when I have the girls I have begun to explore the community that we live in. Yesterday Hannah decided that 5:15 AM was a great time to wake up and proceeded to wake her sister up as well. I tried to get them to go back to sleep with no luck. So at 5:45 AM we were up and moving. I decided to take advantage of the early morning and put the two girls in the double stroller and went for a long walk in the Sculpture park a couple blocks from our house. Then we had breakfast and were grocery shopping at 8:30 AM. Back in time for Hannah's morning nap and then to the lake for a morning swim and playing on the beach. Quite a morning but I wish that I had gotten a little more sleep. Thankfully today Hannah didn't wake up until about 6:45 AM. So today Joel went to work and the girls and I went to story telling in the park. Then tonight we went to a free children's concert in downtown. So quite busy the last couple days exploring what our community has to offer.
