Sophia and I went skiing about a month ago. I put her in a lesson, and went skiing on my own. She got mixed up with a class of kids 2 years older than her, so I was a little worried. Midway through the day I caught up with her on the mountain and she was leading them, and having to wait for them!
Last Monday we went back again, but we couldn't afford to put her in a class again, so Sophia and I went together. She did great! She was having a great time, and controlling her speed and her stopping very well. At different points during the day, I would take her higher on the mountain. By the last 3 runs of the day she was going as high as I'll take her until she's big enough to get on a lift by herself.
Hannah and Sonja had a great time too. They came along and played at the base so we could eat lunch together and spend at least part of the day together.
