I went to a conference for work and was away for over a week from the girls. Wow, they sure do change a lot in one week.
While I was away Hannah could not figure out where Mama was. She kept telling Joel that I was "sleeping." Guess that is how she made sense of me not being there. Joel kept telling her that I was not sleeping but was not there. After a few days she got it. Joel was saying his prayers with her at night and they prayed for mama. She said, "Not here." Then she said, "Miss you." That was only on Tuesday of my conference and I had 4 more days. I was ready to be home.
When I got back the girls had made Valentines. Hannah kept handing the Valentine to me and saying, "Made it. Made it."
Hannah and Sophia seemed to be so much more verbal than when I left. Sophia was using better manners and Hannah was speaking in more sentences. I also have to say that I think that Hannah gained some weight while I was away as well. Mema came to stay with the kids while I was away. Mema sure makes good food. Since Sophia seemed to have better manners as well I will have to assume that Mema also has better manners than I do as well.
Sophia also figured out how to sleep through the night without a diaper while I was away. She only had one accident the entire time I was away and slept every night without a diaper. They are both growing up so fast.
I asked Joel if he took pictures of his mom with the kids but he only got this one. (Too bad Mema's eyes are closed.)

Shucks! We just had too much to do to take pictures! Of course, my eyes are closed...that was the end of a busy week! Thank goodness that they went to daycare and preschool so I could catch my breath. You are so kind to stay so busy and still call to talk or send an email!!!!! LOVE YOU!
