Creativity - Finding a Beach

Sophia decided yesterday that she wanted to go to the beach because it had been so warm. She wanted to put just her swim suit on but I would not let her because it was only in the 50's here. So instead she got her suit on over her clothes and convinced Hannah that it would be a great idea as well. Then Sophia took her umbrella and set up two chairs for them next to the play swim pool that her had placed in our raised garden for the winter. This was the effect.

Sure looks like a great beach. I bet you all wish that you could come to our beach. Almost as good as the ones we used to go to in New Jersey.
Here are the girls in their full glory with suits over the clothes (and gloves on their hands).
At least we have creative kids.

I can hardly wait until you come to Texas to visit. We will go to the Llano River beach around the corner from the "Deer House"!

Hi Sophia and Hannah! It has been GREAT fun catching up with you on the blog...Auntie Kristen hasn't had much time lately to look at it! It is so special to see all the neat stuff you do. Sophia, I can't wait for you to take our picture with your pink camera when we come in 21 MORE DAYS!!! YIPPEE! Sophia, Luke, Drew and Grace got to put their swimsuits on and go swimming OUTSIDE in a pool last week!! It was 85 degrees in Austin and their Neena and Papa Mike heated up their swimming pool! We love you!
