All is Calm

Sophia has loved singing Christmas carols. When it was Advent we started to sing "Away in a Manger" to Sophia. She also has a Little People Nativity set that plays this song as well. Sophia started singing this song over and over again. It got to the point where she knew all three verses and would get mad if you skipped a verse. She not only had us sing for us but can be found singing at least the first two verses by heart. The other day she was banging on the piano and singing "Away in a Manger." As it got closer to Christmas she started to ask for "All is calm." We didn't really know what she was talking about. Then we realized she was asking us to sing "Silent Night". She loves this song and wants this song sung at bed time as well now. Guess that "Silent Night" has a catchy tune even for two year olds. She has the words down for this one as well (just the first verse). What a little singer we have.
