6 Months Old

Hannah is 6 months old now. She went to the doctor and weighted 14 pounds 15 ounces. She is 25.5 inches tall. Both are in the 50%. She is moving into 6-9 month clothing. It also seems like she maybe starting teething the doctor said her gums were swollen and Joel and I had noticed that while we were in Texas she had started to drooling a lot more. I guess that the average child gets his or her first tooth at 7 months old. Right now Hannah is on track to be "normal." Joel always said that he wanted an average child. Looks like so far Hannah is hitting all the average marks.

Of course she is far from average for us. She is just a bundle of love. She is such a happy baby who laughs and smiles all the time. She really only is cranky when she is tired or hungry. She has started to eat oatmeal twice a day and loves to eat her oatmeal. We are starting to introduce vegetables to her as well.

She still is sleeping swaddled but the pediatrian said that since she is rolling over we could unswaddle her and have her sleep on her belly so that she can self swaddle. I am a bit nervous about having her sleep on her belly but right now I will try it.
