Pray

Sophia really is into praying lately. She wants to pray all the time. We will be in the middle of getting ready in the morning and brushing our teeth and she wants to pray. We are playing and then all the sudden she wants to pray. We will be in the middle of the meal and she wants to pray. Of course when we pray it has to be short prayers or she will just say, "Amen" in the middle of the prayer. Sometimes one prayer is not enough and we will pray three or four or even five prayers before she has had enough. If you try to ignore her because you are in the middle of doing something she gets even more persistent and keeps saying "Pray. Pray. Pray." until you do. Jesus says, "Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it." Mark 10:15 and as I look at Sophia's faith already I believe it. She is teaching me about faith. There are many times throughout the day I pray but Sophia already knows how to pray without ceasing and she is only 15 months old. If only we all could have that kind of faith.
