Today Sophia and I went to NYC to see my friend Carrie. It was a beautiful day so we decided to just walk around Central Park and have a picnic. It is interesting to see Sophia's development since the last time we were in NYC just one month ago. This time the train ride was a bit more trying. Sophia wanted to crawl around the train. This is not a good idea since the train is very dirty and there really is no good place to crawl. I had to spend a lot more time trying to distract her with books, toys, and food so she wouldn't scream on the train. Once we were in NYC Sophia didn't just want to be in the stroller she wanted to "walk" around. "Walking" consists of Sophia holding our fingers and walking in front of us since she cannot stand or walk on her own. But she loves to do "walk." So we would "walk" with her for short periods of time and then she would tire out and would go back in the stroller. Here is a picture of my friend, Carrie, "walking" with her by the Lake in Central Park.
