Sophia got an exersaucer type thing for Christmas from us. It is like a walker without wheels. But the exciting part is it has lots of things for her to entertain herself. She is able to play in it for 15-20 minutes and be very content to just play with whatever catches her fancy. When she got it at Christmas she loved to suck on whatever she could but wasn't really able to figure out how to push the buttons to make the music play. Then just last week she figured it out - when she hit the button, then the music plays. Ever since then she loves to push the buttons. She just laughs and giggles as she is playing. We have determined that at this point in Sophia's life the two most entertaining things to her are Paige, the dog, and looking at herself in the mirror. She will have extended conversations with the dog. She just looks at Paige and chatters away. The other time she chatters away is when she sees herself in the mirror. She doesn't know it is actually a mirror, but she loves looking at little kids. Sophia is quite the happy baby. Here is a picture of her playing in her new exersaucer. You can see how happy she is.
