PIGS

Joel's mom was out here to take care of the kids while we went to theological conference. While she was here they started to send home notices about the 100 days of school. They wanted each of the kids to bring 100 things to put into a snack mix (100 chocolate chip, goldfish crackers, marshmellows, raisins, etc.) One night as she was talking to her sister, Christine, she joked that Christine should send us 100 pigs for Sophia to take to school for the 100 days of school. Both of them being teachers knew what a fun time this is for the kids. Christine has been collecting pigs for a LONG time. So Christine decided that it was time to get rid of some of those pigs and a few days later we got a large box addressed to Sophia on our doorstep and this was what was inside.

There were 178 pigs to be exact in the box. Christine stopped counting after awhile.
The girls had a great time and Sophia's teacher LOVED it. We will have to keep them now for when Hannah is in kindergarten.

Thanks, Great Aunt Christine, for loving my grandkids so much...more than Mema...she would never spend that much on postage!!!, but I know that the pigs have progressed to a perfect pig paradise place.
