New Jersey

We were blessed to be able to go back and visit New Jersey and all of our friends who are still there. What we miss most about New Jersey are all of the special relationships that we made while we were there. Of course there were a few things that we had to do while we were there. First on Sophia's list was Rita's Water Ice. Unfortunately, there is no picture to commemorate this occasion. We went to the one in Ewing on the first night but that was not good enough for Sophia. She wanted to go to the one that we went to in Hamilton where you sit on a strip of grass next to a large parking lot under high power electrical lines. This is the New Jersey experience;)

We also had to go to the New Jersey State Aquarium. This was a highlight for both Sophia and Hannah. We got to see all the fish, turtles, sharks and of course the hippos. The hippos were even so kind as to dance underwater for us. Now that they are bit older the also loved touching the sharks.

We also had to go to a Trenton Thunder game. The girls loved being so close to the action. It is not the same watching a major league game here.

Sophia wanted to go back and pick fruits and vegetables at the organic farm that we were a part of before. It was a great day for picking.

We of course enjoyed going back to both of our congregations and seeing everyone there.

The kids just liked hanging out and playing with friends.

I, on the other hand, went to Dunkin Donuts every day we were there;)
