Sophia had a little accident. As we were getting ready for bed, she was reaching for a bedtime book from her bookshelf, and somehow lost her balance and fell. She hit her head on the foot of the rocking chair, and we had to rush her to the emergency room. Saturday night at the ER, with two preacher parents. Loads of fun. Fortunately, she only needed two stitches, and is already healing quite nicely. But it was a pretty good scare for us!

I'm so glad that I wasn't there! I would have cried more than Sophia. I'm sure that I've already gone to the ER more times with grandsons Drew and Luke than with my own kids and the feeling of neglect was overwhelming! I must have been an overprotective mom?! But stitches and bruises don't take away from your BIG, BEAUTIFUL, BLUE eyes! Love, Mema
