Mema and Pepa

Mema and Pepa watched the girls while we had a meeting. Then we went to stay with them for a week. We were able to see some of their second cousins and Joel's Grandpa while we were there. Hannah had not seen Great Pa since she was just 6 months old so it was fun for both the girls to see their extended families again. It is nice to be able to drive and see family now. Here are some pictures of our time together. Seeing family, playing in the river, the beautiful wild flowers, and making cookies with Mema (Texas shaped of course). We did not get any pictures of the goats. The girls loved the goats. Hannah learned from her cousins that "Goats toot." So any noise the goats would make which were mostly snorts, Hannah would tell us "Goats toot." Once we got back she continued to tell everyone and anyone at random times her new piece of trivia. She espeially liked to tell people at church "Goats toot." We are so proud of what she learned. Also no pictures of Pepa's tractor. The girls loved riding on it and going up and down in the front loader as they rode along.

We are so glad that you like Pepa's goats and the river! It was good to have a HOME for you. I hope you like the DEER HOUSE, better than the CHURCH HOUSE or the KING HOUSE or the HOUSE IN THE MOUNTAINS! And may we laugh many times as the "goats toot"!
