I'm Proud to Be an American

Sophia has been learning the pledge of allegiance in preschool. A couple weeks ago she got really into telling us how they stand up and just put one hand on their chest and say something. We figured out it was the pledge. She has been repeating it more and more every day. A few days ago we went to the Goodwill and Sophia discovered a flag among all the stuff. Just a small flag on a stick. She was overjoyed and wanted to get that flag so she would have a flag at h0me where she could say the pledge. So we went to pay for this flag and they gave it to her. So now she parades around the house saying the pledge. Not sure how we feel about being so into this. Joel told her that she didn't have to stand up and say the pledge when everyone else did and that would be fine with him. But there is no way. She LOVES the pledge.
