Yes, Hannah is doing exactly what Sophia did when Sophia was about this age. Hannah loves to pray. She folds her hands and yells, "Pray." We then say a short thank you prayer with Amen. If it gets too long she will just say "Pray" again. Once we done praying then she will call out again "Pray" and fold her hands. We do this over and over again sometimes 4 times, sometimes, 6 sometimes, 10 times. Last week she decided that this would be a great game to play in the grocery store. So we prayed for everything that we put in the cart.
Sophia wants to keep learning new prayers and so has us say any new prayers over and over again so that she can learn them. A couple weeks ago Joel added a couple of new lines to the Come, Lord Jesus prayer. Blessed be God who is our bread. May all the world be clothed and fed. Sophia has loved praying this new version and last night was so proud because she could say the whole thing by herself.
I know that many people want Sunday School and Church to be the place to learn all about God. We are just amazed at how much they take in by just doing what we do at home and at church.

AND Sophia and Hannah, know that Mema prays for you again and again every day. It's amazing how many times something reminds me of you and turns into a prayer. AND at my baptism retreat I taught them out to pray as Sophia taught me in New Jersey...jump for joy, arms outstretched, "THANK YOU, GOD!"
