Sophia and Brita making Red Hot popcorn. Sophia had never seen popcorn pop before. She could not stop laughing as she watched the popcorn popper.
Sophia also made Lefse for the first time. Here are the two of us turning the lefse over on my new lefse grill using the lefse stick. Yes, you have to have a grill just for lefse and a stick just for lefse. I still don't have the rolling pin and rolling board that are also just for lefse. It is quite an undertaking.
Sophia got her own camping sleeping bag and Hannah got a "pea pod travel bed" so we are all set for camping. Here is Sophia and Hannah in the pea pod.
Sophia also got flip flops that match her Auntie Gretchen and Auntie Brita. They are quite the rage in Paraguay right now.

Auntie Kristen needs to learn how to make lefse...either that, or get a Fed Ex account so it can be shipped from NJ or WI!! Can Sophia teach Auntie Kristen how to make lefse?? YUMM!
