Bake a Cake for Daddy's Birthday

Sophia has a book called "Spot Bakes a Cake," which she loves. The books starts out with Spot's mom saying, "Spot, it's your dad's birthday on Friday." To which Spot replies, "Let's bake a cake." Well, last week Sophia and I were out shopping for a small birthday gathering that we were having for Joel on Friday for his birthday. I told her that we were getting food for Daddy's birthday party. She responded, "Bake a cake." I was going to just buy something but who could resist that. So Sophia and I baked Daddy a cake for his birthday. She picked out the kind of cake, frosting, and decorations. When it came time to make the cake she was much more interested in eating the cake mix, the frosting, and the sprinkles. As you can see from the picture below.
