Mema & Pepa!

Mema & Pepa came to visit over Thanksgiving holiday. They sure kept us busy, but we all had a great time watching Sophia just take it all in and show off how big she is. We went to the Crayola Factory & Canal Museum in Easton, PA. Of course she had to take Mema & Pepa to the adventure aquarium in Camden, where you can watch the hippos underwater and walk through a glass tunnel with dozens of sharks swimming around you on all sides! We also went to Longwood Gardens in the Brandywine Valley (PA & DE) to see the beautiful plants in the world class arboretum, musical fountains, and the whole garden outside decorated and lit up for Christmas.

We were having so much fun, we forgot to take many pictures, but here are a few from the Canal Museum:

Sophia is still missing Mema & Pepa, one week after they left. She points to the chair that Pepa sat in whenever we were at home, and says "Pepa?" She passes the family pictures at the top of the stairs and says, "Mema?" It's nice to see that she clearly can put together names and faces in pictures with real people.
