Sophia had her first solid food today. We gave her a bit of rice cereal. She has been watching us eating and drinking and even tries to pull the cup or water bottle to her mouth and tip it up like she is trying to drink. Then she doesn't know what to do after that, so she just sucks the side of the cup. So today we gave her a little bit of cereal to see how she did. She went right after that spoon and then squished the food around in her mouth for a bit and swallowed. So she is ready for the solid food. A whole new chapter of eating has opened up for her.
What an accomplishement to end the year on and begin the new year.
