JOY!

Today Hannah recognized her first word that was not one of our names. We were sorting some clothes that some friends had given us as hand-me-downs. Hannah piped up "I like that one because it says 'JOY' on it." I paused asked Joel if I had read what was on the shirt to make sure that she was not repeating what I had said. No, I had not said the word. So I asked Hannah, "How did you know that word?" Her response, "I read it."
In honor of her Mema who's favorite song is Joy to the World, Hannah's first word she read is JOY!
