Growing into a Big Girl - Part 2

So apparently Hannah has two criteria of what it means to be a "big girl." 1) You can go to the bathroom in the potty and not in your underwear. 2) You can swing all by yourself. Not sure where this second criteria came into play. The ability to pump oneself on the swing is not something that usually develops until kids are a bit older around 4. Maybe Hannah decided this was a criteria since Sophia was pumping on her own when she was not even 3. For whatever reason unknown to us Hannah has chose this to be the criteria. When you ask if she is a big girl she will respond she is still "growing into a big girl" because she cannot swing yet.
Well, Hannah is almost there. On Friday, Joel and I were outside doing yard work. Hannah asked me to push her and I got her started. Then I realized after about 5 minutes that she had not asked me to push her again. She was dutifully pumping back and forth like we have showed her before but now all the movements were coming together at the right times - forward and back, legs straight, legs bent. She was so excited she was getting it she just kept swinging for about 30 minutes. Joel says that she had already been doing this for a few days and I had not realized it. I was quite excited and captured it on film.
