Pepa's Been a Pastor 40 Years

Sophia and Joel were able to go to celebrate Pepa's 40th ordination celebration. They flew down for a few days to celebrate with the family. Joel assisted in worship and Sophia and her cousin, Grace were acolytes. I am sure it was quite a scene with those two as acolytes.
They also got to do the fun things like drive the tractor, play with the goats and swim at the river.
Sophia even got to ride a horse for the second time. Auntie Kristen arranged for her to ride when they go riding.

The very best part of the acolyting was when Grace and Sophia came down the steps, carrying the candlelighter. Sophia jumped and danced back to the pew, trying to catch the smoke coming from the unlit condlelighter. She was oblivious of all the people in church, watching and smiling as she had her own celebration of joy!
