2 and a HALF

You got it Sophia is two and a HALF. Half birthdays are quite a tradition in my family growing up so we had to have a special celebration for Sophia's two and a HALF birthday. She made pink cupcakes (I actually found pink batter this time) and she decorated them herself. It was quite the event. She is getting better at taking posed pictures and will smile if she feels like it (or if you bribe her with fruit snacks). Sophia constantly amazes me. She has a memory much better than mine. Just the other morning we were talking about sun block and she started talking about how when she went to camp when Hannah was born she put on sun block so she could go in the pool but it was raining so they could not swim. That was over 6 months ago she she knew all the details. She loves singing and having us sing to her and knows so many songs. She still loves her baby sister and is getting better at playing with her and sometimes sharing her toys with Hannah. Lately she has been playing Candy Land with us and of course she thinks that Hannah needs to play as well. So she has Hannah pull out a card and then she moves Hannah's piece. Sophia still is long and skinny as ever. She weighs about 24 pounds on our scale and is so tall. I have trouble getting pants to stay on her butt or if they do they are high waters.
Here she is with the bear in the chair picture at 2 1/2
