Bottle Strike Ended!
Sophia started daycare last week and on Thursday she started taking the bottle again. She has been refusing to take the bottle for over a month. Instead she would just play with the nipple, eat a little bit, and then cry. She wanted her mama to feed her. She would eat just enough to stave off the hunger and then wait until I returned. But thankfully on Thursday she just latched right on to the nipple and started gulping. She had three bottles that day at daycare. I was so relieved because I was concerned I would have to go to her daycare at lunchtime and nurse so that she would not starve or dehydrate herself. Who knew that such a small child could have such a strong will. The parents have won this battle of wills. I am sure that this is just the first of many to come.
